As an Insurance Operator
As a part of your role, you will:
- Handle all insurance documentation (i.e. Insurance Certificates/Policies and Flag State Insurance Related documents) issued (Marine and Non-Marine Insurance). Check them for accuracy and distribute them internally.
- Handle and process all invoices concerning the Insurance Department.
- Manage insurance and claims databases (Internal and External) and update all internal spreadsheets accordingly.
- Prepare claim submissions (Marine and Non-Marine) and monitor collections of claims proceeds.
- Maintain and Handle, Company Personnel and Crew Medical Cover.
- Conduct market research and prepare insurance or claims related presentations when required.
- Check additional War Risk premium quotations for accuracy..
The ideal candidate should have
- Degree in Maritime Studies or Economic Studies.
- Previous Experience: At least 2 years in a similar position or in any other position in the Marine Insurance sector.
- Computer Literate (Good use of excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Proficient in English (both oral and written).
- Teamwork
