· Promotes to all seagoing and shore-based personnel awareness of need to operate vessels to highest standards, consistent with International and National legislation, ensuring that appropriate procedures are followed.

· Promotes awareness of safety and environmental protection to all seagoing personnel, with objective of operating without accidents or incidents.

· Prepares disbursement accounts proforma, checking of FDAs.

· Communication with vessel’s regarding emerging issues.

· Communication with brokers.

· Cooperation with Chartering department.

· Bunkering operations and lubricant supplies.

· Handles Demurrages.

· Calculation and estimation of port expenses.

· Updates of all departments regarding vessels schedule.

· Preparation of Voyage orders.

· Follows up voyages and ensures that vessels’ performance is in accordance with Company’s standards.

· Stowage plans preparation/ checking would be an asset.

Qualifications:

· Postgraduate studies in Shipping.

· 3-5 years’ experience in Operations of Oil/ Chemical Tankers

· Experience in Chemical Tankers.

Shipping Academy graduate recognized by National Authorities would be an asset.

· Seagoing experience as Chief Officer or Captain A’ Class would be an asset.

· Excellent command of English language.

· Advanced computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel and ERP: DANAOS.

· Loyal, results oriented, team player and proactive individual.

· Ability to multitask, prioritize and plan to meet deadlines.
